Housebuster, the 1990 sprint champion, went wire to wire to win the $200000 Carter Handicap at Aqueduct Racetrack. The winner, ridden by Craig Perret, finished 2 1/2 lengths in front of Black Tie Affair in the eight-horse field for his first victory in three starts on the year. Housebuster covered seven furlongs in 1:21 1/5 to earn $120000.
