Solitair VOLTAIRE x LIBERO H x ULSTER x ABGAR XX KWPN 99.01461, 1,71m, bay, 1999 Breeder: H. Pasterkamp, Den Ham & B.Winters, Ommen Solitair is a jumping talent with super movements and very appealing conformation. At his performance test in Ermelo he received an 8.5 for his canter and for walk, trot and talent, three 8.0's. His sire Voltaire (s. Furioso II) jumped internationally at the highest level with Jos Lansink and Emile Hendrix. In addition, Voltaire, who has more than thirty registered off spring in the Breeding Guide for international showjumping horses, belongs among the best stallions in the world. Solitair was bred out of Nigrante, a beautiful daughter of the legendary Holsteiner stallion Libero H. This mare not only received high recommendations by the KWPN approval committee but has also produced the International show jumper Triviant (David Quigley). Solitair's dam line carries a large amount of blood through the influential stallions Abgar xx and Pericles xx. With the Swedish showjumping rider Malin Bayard this season the bay stallion was placed at the World Cup shows of Olso, Helsinki and Vigo. The combination also contributed to the winning Team at the 2010 Flasterbo Top League Nations cup. Tornesch's excellent pedigree lists three of the world's best stallions in a row: Lux Z, Libero H and Caletto I. NUMERO UNO x EKSTEIN x LEGAAT x GOUDSMID KWPN 02.08795, 1.70m, bay, 2002 Breeder: L. Meulenberg, Guttecoven Vincenzo, the champion of the 2005 KWPN stallion approval, is a son of the highly respectable stallion Numero Uno, one of the leading sires in the World. Vincenzo is bred out of the keur mare Kyra (s. Ekstein) who had received high marks during her mare performance test. Kyra is a full sister to the international show jumping stallion Ivar and mother to the international show jumping horse Otto (s. Peter Pan) who jumped at 1.50m international level with Guy Williams. The breeding family is also well known. Out of this interesting line we know the approved stallion Toulon (s. Heartbreaker) and the international show jumping horses Illusion, Looping, Pontiac, Sundance Kid and Okidoki. The latter horse recently won the Team Gold medal at the 2006 World Equestrian Games in Aachen, Germany with Dutch rider Albert Zoer. LIBERO H x NIMMERDOR x MARCO POLO x POLARIS KWPN 01.10827, 1.67m, bay, 2001 Breeder: G. van der Veen, Ommeren Ustinov's great exterior and jumping qualities are deeply anchored in his pedigree. His sire is the showjumping horse producer Libero H, a legend in his lifetime. With Jos Lansink this son of Landgraf I won a respectable series of World Cup competitions and Grand Prix, the highlight being his fantastic victory of the 's-Hertogenbosch World Cup finals in 1994. His fighting spirit in combination with his jumping skills and incredible reflexes made the stallion almost unbeatable that season. In total Libero H has less than 600 registered offspring, more than 50 of these are or have been competing at 1.50m or higher in international showjumping. It is remarkable that many of his internationally successful offspring also carry the blood of Nimmerdor. Liberty, Coonawarra, Ikoon and Iowa are just a few examples. This fact makes Ustinov's pedigree even more interesting, as he also carries the blood of Nimmerdor on his dam's side. Ustinov has already successfully competed in international young horses competitions and left a great impression after presenting his first offspring in 2006.
