RT: 06:45 (Low res version) Event: 2008 Preakness Stakes - 133rd Running on the Preakness Stakes Date: May 17, 2008 Location: Pimlico Race Course, Baltimore, MD Description: It was the 2008 Preakness horse race during the Big Browns triple shot. The weather was nice the first couple weeks of spring. The Fight was in the infield of the track filled with thousands of drunken college kids. The fight started over some school trash talking and random hits by beer cans that were flying all over the place. Dave Palone Part 2-- A Day in the Life -- Hoof Beats 2012 [14:28]
The Hoof Beats crew spent the day (Tuesday May 15th) with driver Dave Palone and his family. We followed Dave from his house to lunch to "The Meadows" then back home for dinner and a ride in their arena with the kids. We picked an interesting day to go with Dave as he didn't win the number of races he usually does, but that just shows he doesn't always get the best drives or win all the time. This is part 1 of 3.
