ReadyGetsGold finally showed up and persevered to get us a 3rd in the 7th race today at The Big A! The 1 hole turned out to be the right hole for her as she recovered from an awkward break and was able to maintain position on the rail for the whole trip around the inner track. Tom thought she may have been a bit timid when finally pinned on the rail in deep stretch but she continued her drive to get us 3rd and gallop out past the winner. This race was a great improvement over the last one and should set us up for a better result next time. Tom is confident that we are finally on the right track and he was happy to see her in a spirited drive right until the end of the race moving forward toward the finish line. She only got beat a length and a bit for all of it so we are in the right spot. He also said a little moisture in the track would have helped us and we are bound to get that in the weeks to come. All in all, a very good effort on the part of RGG. With the bigger purses coming after the 1st of the year we are sitting in a very good spot with her right now. GO BABY GO!!!

Kid Blast 2nd AQU 11.20.11.avi [04:44]
Kid Blast ran a gutsy, throat soaring, jump up and down while screaming your head off, 2nd in the 6th race on Sunday, November 20th, at Aqueduct. In a sprint breaking from the 10 hole, getting bumped coming out of the gate, closing on a dead speed favoring track, while running 4 wide and a bit green, he came within a neck of winning it! He is awesome! He will get a lot out of this race and a very good education. We were all very proud of him, in the paddock he was calm as well as when he was waiting to be loaded in the gate. He is huge and a very powerful horse who will be very even money in his next start.
