Its All About Chew 9 Days Of March [13:19]
"Now don't go fallin' in love with that horse." My take on that advice was always kept to myself, "I love them ALL. No use trying to explain, there's not a soul on earth that could comprehend or relate to my love for horses." Thirty eight years and thousands of horses later, It's All About Chew, the one that I refused to acknowledge or approve of even before her conception, became a direct part of my life. With my minds desire set on the younger filly, Stella, who's path in life will lead her opposite my direction, I coerced myself into focusing on "Choo" daily. It didn't take me long to realize that this never before handled, mean spirited, stand-offish, coming two year old filly by Royal Blew Chew Chew had a whole different side to her. During the five months I've spent with Choo she has not yet seized to astound me. Is she fast? I don't know, and she's not the prettiest horse I've ever seen... but she's by far the MOST expressive, fearless, patient, free spirited, and the smartest horse I've ever known! Her hateful, hostile disposition turned out to be kind, affectionate, and personable with an uninhibited nature that can spark everything from gut busting laughter, to jaw dropping awe that always leaves me craving more. Now the empty void, where Choo once dwelt, that I wake up to every day shows how naive I was and my new take on the "advice" that I have heard countless times throughout my life is not kept to myself and I believe it is used too loosely and not taken ...

Frankel::The World's Greatest Racehorse Returns [01:43]
I OWN NOTHING BUT THE EDITING. *EDIT* Simply superb. Frankel is magic. 10 from 10. Just the greatest. No flat horse has ever got me this excited. Can't wait to see where he goes next! In one week, the highest rated racehorse (or is he joint with BC? whatever, in my eyes Frankel is superior to Black Caviar, controversial I know-dont eat me!) in the world returns in the Lochinge Stakes at Newbury. I for one cannot wait and hopefully he will smash up his rivals once again. There's a couple if glitches in the video, SV wouldn't play it back properly but hopefully they're not too major. Does everyone else think Frankel will be better this season? Anyway, enjoy the video, it's nothing special but I couldn't resist making it as a tribute to the returning superstar ^^ (Now back to revising, exams start on tuesday!)

2003 American Handicap - Candy Ride [01:49]
In the mid-1990s, trainer Ron McAnally showed Sid Craig tapes of an Argentine-bred colt who looked like the real goods. The asking price for Gentlemen, the horse in the tapes, was $1 million. That was about $700000 more than Craig had paid for his future champion, the Argentine-bred Paseana, a few years before, so he and McAnally passed on Gentlemen. The happy end to the story belonged to RD Hubbard, who eventually became the principal owner of Gentlemen as the horse carved a US career that totaled $3.3 million in purses. Early this year, McAnally went to Del Mar to show Sid and Jenny Craig more race tapes of another Argentine prospect. The asking price for Candy Ride would be high, McAnally knew, but the Craigs had been known to open their vault before. They paid $2.5 million for Dr Devious, their 1992 English Derby winner. To get the undefeated Candy Ride, who won his three races in South America by 28 lengths, the Craigs were going to have to spend $900000. "That's a lot of money," Sid Craig said Friday, "but I've never seen Ron this excited about a horse before." He was standing in the winner's circle at Hollywood Park on the Fourth of July, wearing a red-white-and-blue necktie and celebrating Candy Ride's first stakes victory in the US, a three-quarter length victory over Special Ring in the $150000 American Handicap. Candy Ride has won five in a row overall and earned $124800 for the Craigs, whose accountants will be pleased to know that bigger days might be ahead ...

Preakness Stakes 2012 - I'll Have Another Wins (5-19-2012) [01:15]
It was an exciting race at the Preakness Stakes. The race came down to the very end, with I'll Have Another challenging Bodemeister to win the race. It looked like Bodemeister was going to win, but I'll Have Another managed to edge ahead at the end of the race The horse, with jockey Mario Gutierrez, went from 15-to-1 shot to Kentucky Derby winner two weeks ago. Now the three-year-old colt is the only competitor in the field with a chance to capture the sport's elusive Triple Crown. I'll Have Another became the first horse since 2008 to win the first two legs of the Triple Crown, edging Bodemeister again in a thrilling finish to the 137th running of the Preakness Stakes Saturday at sun-splashed Pimlico Race Course. O'Neill said prior to the race that what worked at 1¼ miles in a 20-horse field at Churchill Downs won't necessarily fly in the 13/16-mile middle leg of the Triple Crown, since Pimlico is known for its tight turns and speed-favoring surface. And it turned out to be a differeent race completely. O'Neill vowed to change instructions for 25-year-old upstart jockey Mario Gutierrez before the 11 starters go to the gate. "We'll be involved early," he said earlier this week. Bodemeister was the 3-2 favorite over the Derby winner, who entered the race at 3-1. But he competed for the sixth time this season and third time in five weeks. Tom Chukas, president of the Maryland Jockey Club, said he was happy with the race-day turnout, especially in the packed infield, and ...

2012 Dixieland Nationals Day 1 (13 Intermediates) [1st Motos] [01:36]
For Saturday's 13 Intermediate, we had 16 riders in my class which means we had a semi. This was my first race as a Intermediate but I raced 6 Intermediate races before and only won 1 of them at Peachtree City. I was really nervous and did not know what to expect, and when I crossed the line 1st, I just fistpumped and yelled "YEAHHHH!!!!" Thank you everybody who watched, and supported me this moto and the semi, sorry the semi is not posted, ran out of memory and had to delete it so we could film the main.
