Richard Silverman Returns To The Sulky [06:15]
Meadowlands Racetrack's newest video feature celebrates the return of driver Richie Silverman, who was sidelined for six months by injuries he suffered in a racing accident last summer. The most severely hurt of the six drivers involved in the spill on June 18, 2010 at the Meadowlands, Silverman fractured both of his ankles and sustained a severe concussion after launching 20 feet into the air, landing on a fallen horse and then having his sulky land on top of him. After a lengthy physical rehabilitation process, he returned to the sulky on January 8, 2011 at the Meadowlands.
