Gymkhana Play Day 2-23-13 helmet cam [02:54]
Using the GoPro Hero 3 White edition, I give you five events I ran with my horse, Drummer. The camera's quality is AMAZING, unfortunately, when I went to edit it, rendering the video out proved to be a challenge, so the little horizontal lines were from the computer, not the camera. Events ran (in order of clips): Cloverleaf Barrels California Speed Barrels (or Speed Barrels...I've heard it both ways) Speed Ball Bi-rangle Single Stake I don't quite remember the times on each event, it was more for fun. Drummer is my all around western horse, so we just wanted to let our hair down and have fun...despite the wind being horrific.

Oldddd, don't pay attention to this. OKAY. This fails to a large degree. I was terrified because my horse was extremely hyped up in the warmup ring and hadn't really mastered the whole "still take the pattern even when your horse bolts" thing yet. So I kinda made her trot around the first and and do a sorta slow lope around the second. But she went... Kinda a little fast home. So yeah. This was my first competive run, and I placed 4th in the under 18 division, so what the hay xD. My time was 24.08. Also, excuse the people talking in the background. PSThe blue things around my legs are wraps in case I hit the barrels with my legs. :3

Composure controls 2002 Oak Leaf at Santa Anita (Oak Tree) [02:52]
Composure took the 2002 Oak Leaf at Santa Anita by three lengths under Mike Smith for her first of three graded stakes victories. She would suffer a tough loss to Storm Flag Flying in the Breeders' Cup Juvenile Fillies and an upset at the hands of Elloluv in the Hollywood Starlet before returning to Santa Anita to take the 2003 Las Virgenes and Santa Anita Oaks.
