First Horse RIding Falls at TAFE 2012 [03:00]
This is the Certificate II in Racing (Stablehand), where the students have to ride everyday as part of the course. This particular day was wet and the genious idea to try bareback riding for the first time was highly ..... um ...... anticipated!! Most of these riders have only been riding for the past 4/5weeks in the course and some have hopes to move onto track riding and/or even a jockey. Needless to say this was a fun day and provided a great laugh! The fantasic horses Brermuda abd Indy did fantastic job at giving the students their first falls off a horse!!! One of the best days of the TAFE couse yet!!

Katherine Basset racing at Flete 5-5-12 [01:08]
Katherine riding in her 5th race at the Modbury Harries point to point held at Flete :) She's riding Jimmy Frosts Brown Button. She finnished the race today ahead of someone which is good as she's still learning :) All about the staying on right now! I was meant to be at Badminton this weekend but as it was cancelled im not so got someone coming to try the shetland tommorow :) Mr G is on/off lame with arthitus right now :( and samira is slowly loosing weight :) Videos soon :)

update!! some clips are crap yeah, but HDDD it!!! i made this yesterday, in the meantime i got new clips. we're working a lot of flatwork, because we both suck at it. my trainer had me put the dressage whip on my back... as u see. we're making some serious progress my lesson today we got him even better at the flatwork. we're really learning a lot about each other. later in our lesson we took him outside to the jumping arena. we know he can jump and my trainer knows im getting bored of all the flatwork. she put the jump down so he can just get to see it. he took off and started galloping away from it, not naughty, but excited! so gonna jump him more. i got him to be really good about the jump at the end. we're really getting along well. [READ DESCRIPTION] Can't sleep, started this at 11:00pm and finished around 3:30am. Now I'm probably going to spend a good 30 minutes writing a somewhat meaningful description. Well... Where to start... I had a pretty good breakdown before I started making this video. I thought about... how I'm poor... we can't afford much... one lesson a week isn't helping me enough... so many people think I'm a horrible rider... so many people put me down... I have ten times more bad days than good... I fear I'll never be a good rider... I'll never amount to anything... ect. Constantly people are putting my down. They say I can't ride. I'll never be good no matter what. Because I'm poor I'm nothing. I'm really starting to believe them. More than anything in life I just want to ride. I wish I could ride everyday, every second of my life. Or at least just be with horses... and learning... Even though this video is only a minute and a half long. I could spend an endless amount of time expressing how I feel. But, I'll never give up on what's important to me. Never. I'll just have to work ten times harder than everyone else around me. I'll work for it. No matter how long it takes. I know I'll get there... someday. Well I think I'm done with this stupid description. I hate writing descriptions... Thanks for reading, ~Ashley
