It was being aired on day one of Royal Ascot and there we were in the betting ring, Just above us is the Royal Box. I could only see Prince Andrew so perhaps Her Majesty the Queen was off placing a bet! Ha ha You tube's tage suggestions are a funny thing! Because I have put 'Prince Andrew' as a tag it has come up with a suggestion for another tag: 'Frog' !!

Leatherhead wins again! [05:12]
Exactly a year ago, Leatherhead broke his maiden, April 16th 2010. And today he wins his second career win on April 16 2011. Is it really a coincidence? Both times Maylan Studart rode him. He had actually broken her leg in June 2009. Well, at least she broke his maiden!!!

I could indulge having backed Posh Emily each way at 14/1 (3rd) and Russian Flag to win at 8/1 (won) but my former colleague at the Royal Geographical Society Kathryn hadn't yet had a bet. She was a first time racegoer and inspired by my succesas a tipster so far decided to have a good bet on Dan Breen. Somehow; we thought he was just a sexy horse whn he entered the Parade ring...
