AQHA World Champion Running Horse Cold Cash 123 took on a nice field that included multiple G1 winner Llano Teller, who was ridden by GR Carter. The Hennessy Gold Cup is a Grade 1 National Hunt chase in Ireland which is open to horses aged five years or older. It is run at Leopardstown over a distance of about 3 miles (4828 metres), and during its running there are seventeen fences to be jumped. Jockey Robbie Supple rode Nick the Brief to victory during the 1991 Hennessy Gold Cup thanks to the training expertise of John Upson.
