Dream Team Racing Stable's, two year old Discreet Cat colt, Hoosier Hero, is a head turner during early training in Kentucky. He has done everything right and it would not surprise us if he is an early arrival to the track later this year. His long stride has been noticed by many that get to see this young guy train.

Dream Team Racing Stable's promising Roman Ruler yearling colt has been very forward in his early training and has been going to the track for his regular galloping sessions. This clip was taken of him (he is on the outside) on 12/01/11 and looks comfortable on the track. He is doing very well.

1988 Lexington Stakes - Risen Star -vs- Forty Niner [02:43]
Risen Star, a son of Secretariat who had never raced outside Louisiana, wore down Forty Niner in the final yards to win the $105600 Lexington Stakes at Keeneland by a head today and thoroughly muddle the outlook for the Kentucky Derby May 7. An authoritative victory by Forty Niner, last year's champion 2-year-old, would have sent him to Louisville as a solid favorite for the Derby and might have kept down the size of the field. Now, though, there is no clear Derby favorite and a full field of 20 seems likely. This is the second time Forty Niner has been run down in a middle-distance race this spring, and it is difficult to be enthusiastic about his chances at the longer Derby distance of 1 1/4 miles.
