Its All About Chew 9 Days Of March [13:19]
"Now don't go fallin' in love with that horse." My take on that advice was always kept to myself, "I love them ALL. No use trying to explain, there's not a soul on earth that could comprehend or relate to my love for horses." Thirty eight years and thousands of horses later, It's All About Chew, the one that I refused to acknowledge or approve of even before her conception, became a direct part of my life. With my minds desire set on the younger filly, Stella, who's path in life will lead her opposite my direction, I coerced myself into focusing on "Choo" daily. It didn't take me long to realize that this never before handled, mean spirited, stand-offish, coming two year old filly by Royal Blew Chew Chew had a whole different side to her. During the five months I've spent with Choo she has not yet seized to astound me. Is she fast? I don't know, and she's not the prettiest horse I've ever seen... but she's by far the MOST expressive, fearless, patient, free spirited, and the smartest horse I've ever known! Her hateful, hostile disposition turned out to be kind, affectionate, and personable with an uninhibited nature that can spark everything from gut busting laughter, to jaw dropping awe that always leaves me craving more. Now the empty void, where Choo once dwelt, that I wake up to every day shows how naive I was and my new take on the "advice" that I have heard countless times throughout my life is not kept to myself and I believe it is used too loosely and not taken ...

Say hello to Little John Paddocks latest edition; Lottie! [01:30]
Hehe, yep this is the big surprise. Say hello to Lottie everyone! She arrived on Staurday 21st April and is the second foal to be born at Little John Paddocks. Lottie's dam, Freckles (the grey mare) was bought to be a new riding horse at LJP. And, it wasn't until a couple weeks after that she was discovered to have been pregnant! Already she'd been used in lessons and taken out on hacks! Although, this hasn't effected Lottie in the slightest. Freckles is a very proud mummy and Lottie is a very lucky filly! :D After having discovered Freckles to be pregnant, Sue (the stable owner) rang up the previous owners to complain. They previous owners of Freckles claimed to have not known about the mare's pregnancy at all. But, come on, how could you not know?! You wouldn't put a mare in the same field near a stallion would you? Unless you wanted a foal of course. We currently do not know what Lottie's sire looked like so it was a mystery on what colour she'd be when she came out. This event can relate to a previous happening back in 2010 with the piebald mare, Bailey. Bailey was discovered to have been pregnant a couple weeks at being at LJP. I just want to get some things straight: at Little John Paddocks there are only mares and geldings. NO STALLIONS! So its impossible for one of our horses to breed, OK? Good. Anyway, Bailey gave birth to a piebald colt named Beaumont (Beau for short) mid 2011 and was sold to a loving home where he'll be looked after for his whole life. The ...

For Sale-7 yr/o grade $6000 [01:24]
Just practice 5/9/12. His mom was a Raise Your Glass, Tonto Bars Gill, Spotted Bull, Jet Deck bred mare that was registered. He's been exibitioned a lot but I've only entered once where he was in the 2D behind Vegas who won it in the Open at Spicers and he wasn't even running hard. He has been goat tied off but I wouldn't sugest it as he's a good 16.2hh or so. He runs poles, he is also very cowy, and he has been jumped some (3ft highest). He'd make a great kid horse, he's very relaxed. He's the one who bows, lays down, and smiles on command. :P In this video he is in a Bozo hack with a martingale but I run him in a tie down with a Junior Cowhorse bit.
