trainer reluctantly ran Peter Pan in the 1935 Melbourne Cup with 65 kg. He placed 13th and was immediately retired. At stud Peter Pan produced the stakeswinners Grampian, Precept and Peter. He was put down aged 12 in 1941 after breaking his leg. Peter Pan's race record stands at 38 starts for 23 wins, 6 seconds and 1 third.
