WGAL-TV Budget Impact on Pennsylvania Racing Industry [02:41]
The Pennsylvania Equine Coalition expressed concern that the Corbett Administration's proposed budget would divert a total of $31159000 from the Race Horse Development Fund to the state's General Fund and other budget line items. This comes at a time when the industry is experiencing significant declines in revenues going into the Race Horse Development Fund (RHDF), which will likely result in a $5 to $15 million decrease in funding available to supplement purses and provide race horse breeding incentives compared to the 2011-2012 fiscal year.

Milly's weight reduction program [01:01]
Milly is part of the Cyberhorse Hearts Racing Team. She is one of 13 thoroughbreds in the team. A 4yo mare, Milly has had too good a Spring from the point of view of the equine athlete. We have embarked on a serious weight reduction program for Milly which will see her lose 50kg over the next couple of months. We expect by that time she will be more like her older sister Mystera who won at Sandown and Morphettville before being retired earlier this year.
