co owner of Tickity Bleue Peter Gordon chats to Eliza at Cheltenham [01:14]
One of Eliza's friends Peter Gordon is co owner in a small syndicate of 'Tickity Bleue' an exciting prospect for next season trained by Alan King . She was beaten on this ocassion by Glorious Twelfth from the Nicky Henderson yard; but had beaten it on her sole run previously at Newbury. The big tests is always Cheltenham to see if a horse copes with the hill; and also they were unsure about the soft going but she handled it well. The race was a 'bumper' - an introduction to racecourse action for future jumpers but on the flat; also known as a 'National Hunt flat race'. Tickity Bleue was giving weight to Glorious Twelfth (and the rest of the runners) because of the fact she'd won before; but the latter is a 5 year old. The last race of the day on a filthy afternoon; many racegoers had departed and as a result have probably missed two of the new stars of next season...

Tim Vaughan is enjoying another great season and one of his owners Eira tells Eliza about one of Tim's stable stars: the 2011 Scottish National winner Beshabar who is popular with all the owners at the yard. While not doubting his class and guts, he is perhaps not the prettiest horse and can be a bit of a character; Eira explains how she gets on his good side when visiting the yard with polo mints!

W informacji prosto ze stajni trener Walicki stwierdził, że podczas treningów debiutujący również w wieku trzech lat Czen nie ustępuje Upominkowi (patrz I gonitwa). I rzeczywiście półbrat dobrego Czata odniósł efektowne zwycięstwo pod Pawłem Gluzą, bijąc prowadzącą w dystansie Dubną. Trzeci był Tulczyn, a czwarty Ulsan. Chief"s of Line została wycofana z dyspozycji startera. Czen został wyhodowany przez BHT Animal Trade Sp z oo i Stajnię Korab. Jest własnością tej spółki i trenera Andrzeja Walickiego.
