Hannah Riddle and her horse Barney made the leap from amateur to professional barrel racing at the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association Rodeo in Sedalia on Feb. 25. Although the team knocked over a barrel and were disqualified, Riddle says she is optimistic about the future. The duo's next rodeo is the Columbia Barrel Bash from March 25 to 27 at the Boone County Fairgrounds.

Their farrier was McNair Kerswill of the Red Mile. Dick's uncle, William N. Reynolds won a $40459 purse the prior year on Wednesday August 16, 1933 at Good Time Park in Goshen, NY. Uncle Will's horse "Mary Reynolds" was trained and driven by Ben White and groomed by Bob Davis.
