Standardbred Canada Video Feature - Movie Stars [02:54]
The sport of harness racing is full of heart-warming and gut-wrenching stories undiscovered by filmmakers. On any given day you can count on a roller-coaster ride of emotions, high-speed action, and personalities big enough for the silver screen. With many of Hollywood's biggest and brightest stars making headlines at this week's Toronto International Film Festival, Standardbred Canada has asked trainers and drivers to weigh in on which actor they would choose to play themselves if a film were made about their lives in this week's video feature.
Rodeo Memories on the Ground - [2012 Henry County Rodeo] [04:29]
My son and I decided to go film the 2012 Henry County Rodeo in Georgia with our Sony FS700 slow motion camera. Every time we hit record we learn. ========================================================= PLEASE PROVIDE FEEDBACK... GOOD OR BAD ... IT'S HOW I LEARN TO BE A BETTER FILMMAKER :) ========================================================= Our goals for the video shoot was as follows: 1. To further test out the 240 and 480FPS camera options to create some unique slow motion. 2. To practice focus pulling on live action. (Having hard focus stops with my new follow focus really helped set the fence boundaries on the arena and then pull focus between them) 3. My son needed more time behind the Canon 5D he is still learning the art. 4. Work with footage ramping in post to continue to use the new slow motion in new and exciting ways. We had a blast very nice cloud cover to create some good lighting for the day, we lucked out. We meet some great people who travel all around the southeast doing rodeos, real down to earth good Americans! Thanks for putting on a great show! The announcer called my son out during the show over the loud speakers. "What is this world coming to when you have a 5 year old running around with $4000 worth of camera gear!" LOL it was pretty funny. Everything was shot in 240 or 480FPS except 24FPS on Canon 5D. Graded with: PP6 settings with Colorista and Looks Grading in Post I added a film grain to the whole piece to give it a gritty feel, thoughts ...
