Well, those of you who have been following my videos (and my old channel eventerkatie84) will know that our horses are all rescues off the track. We rescue them, rehabilitate them, re-train them, and re-home them. My dear friend Georgie who not only finds these horses, but houses them on her property, asked me to put this video together, and it turned out well so I thought I may as well upload it! All the clips are in chronological order starting with Toby (Our first project) then King, and finally Roger. These horses were all bound for slaughter, and have all turned out to be lovely riding horses, and have even been out competing! We have definitely had our challenges with them but so far it has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my life, not to mention how much we have both learned along the way! We are now both employed int he horse industry and are learning more and more every day which in turn has been a huge benefit to us and the horses. We are looking forward to keeping our ottb rescue going for as long as possible, and I'm looking forward to buying my own acreage to step the ...

I DO NOT OWN MUSIC!!! anyways, i rode this gorgeous chesnut, hes 16h2 and an off the track thoughbred, btw im visitng my sister in massachuscetts, so she let me take a lesson and this BEAUTIFUL barn ! but yes, he was great !

Skylar: First 2 weeks [04:48]
*NO COPYWRITE INTENDED, I DO NOT OWN AUDIO* (Please no crit on riding or training techniques) So this is my new off the track thoroughbred that I am training for eventing, Mount Skylight "Skylar". Hes 5 years old and 16 hands. He has had no prior training besides racing. He is a very quick learner and just an all around good boy. Its not on film but we did cleanly trot through the trot poles.

jumping Fiona 2, 6 [01:05]
First day riding/ jumping Fiona. Fiona is a 12 year old off the track Throughbred mare. Please excuse the beginning, my trainer had to fix the martingale (sp?) and we both know that is not a martingale for jumping.
