It was an exciting race at the Preakness Stakes. The race came down to the very end, with I'll Have Another challenging Bodemeister to win the race. It looked like Bodemeister was going to win, but I'll Have Another managed to edge ahead at the end of the race The horse, with jockey Mario Gutierrez, went from 15-to-1 shot to Kentucky Derby winner two weeks ago. Now the three-year-old colt is the only competitor in the field with a chance to capture the sport's elusive Triple Crown. I'll Have Another became the first horse since 2008 to win the first two legs of the Triple Crown, edging Bodemeister again in a thrilling finish to the 137th running of the Preakness Stakes Saturday at sun-splashed Pimlico Race Course. O'Neill said prior to the race that what worked at 1¼ miles in a 20-horse field at Churchill Downs won't necessarily fly in the 13/16-mile middle leg of the Triple Crown, since Pimlico is known for its tight turns and speed-favoring surface. And it turned out to be a differeent race completely. O'Neill vowed to change instructions for 25-year-old upstart jockey Mario Gutierrez before the 11 starters go to the gate. 2012 Dixieland Nationals Day 1 (13 Intermediates) [1st Motos] [01:36]
For Saturday's 13 Intermediate, we had 16 riders in my class which means we had a semi. This was my first race as a Intermediate but I raced 6 Intermediate races before and only won 1 of them at Peachtree City. I was really nervous and did not know what to expect, and when I crossed the line 1st, I just fistpumped and yelled "YEAHHHH!!!!" Thank you everybody who watched, and supported me this moto and the semi, sorry the semi is not posted, ran out of memory and had to delete it so we could film the main.

Say hello to Little John Paddocks latest edition; Lottie! [01:30]
Hehe, yep this is the big surprise. Say hello to Lottie everyone! She arrived on Staurday 21st April and is the second foal to be born at Little John Paddocks. Lottie's dam, Freckles (the grey mare) was bought to be a new riding horse at LJP. And, it wasn't until a couple weeks after that she was discovered to have been pregnant! Already she'd been used in lessons and taken out on hacks! Although, this hasn't effected Lottie in the slightest. Freckles is a very proud mummy and Lottie is a very lucky filly! :D After having discovered Freckles to be pregnant, Sue (the stable owner) rang up the previous owners to complain. They previous owners of Freckles claimed to have not known about the mare's pregnancy at all. But, come on, how could you not know?! You wouldn't put a mare in the same field near a stallion would you? Unless you wanted a foal of course. We currently do not know what Lottie's sire looked like so it was a mystery on what colour she'd be when she came out. This event can relate to a previous happening back in 2010 with the piebald mare, Bailey. Bailey was discovered to have been pregnant a couple weeks at being at LJP. I just want to get some things straight: at Little John Paddocks there are only mares and geldings. NO STALLIONS! So its impossible for one of our horses to breed, OK? Good. Anyway, Bailey gave birth to a piebald colt named Beaumont (Beau for short) mid 2011 and was sold to a loving home where he'll be looked after for his whole life. The ...
