Latest Daytona NASCAR Crash 2013 [02:02]
Here's what the crash involving Kyle Larson and 11 other Nationwide drivers looked like from the grandstands. Tyler Andersen, a resident of Jacksonville Beach, Fla., was at the Drive for COPD 300 on Saturday and was filming the final lap when Kyle Larson's car got turned into the catchfence just in front of him and debris from his car flew into the grandstands. You can see the panic in the stands in the crash's aftermath and the tire that flew over the catchfence landed just feet from Anderson. At least 28 fans were injured in the crash, two critically, which also damaged the catchfence. Daytona International Speedway President Joie Chitwood said that the fence would be repaired in time for Sunday's Daytona 500.

"Equestrian" [03:28]
...It's been 5 years since I started riding horses... Throughout these 5 years, I've learned so many things and ridden over 20 horses. Every one of those horses each taught me something different. The horses shown in the video all have the most special places in my hearts. They were the ones who taught me the most valuable lessons, all of which I still think of today. Here's a list of what each one taught me: ~Cowboy: Cowboy taught me how to love a horse. He showed me that new horses don't have to be intimidating if you get to know them first, and build a bond. ~Quincy: Quincy taught be to be the leader. While this is true, he never let me get too pushy; horses have their bad days too, ~Titan: Titan taught me to be sensitive towards the needs of horses. His shy, skittish personality attracted me to him, and we each learned together about our strengths and weaknesses. ~Dexter: Dexter taught me how to mentor the horse. He showed me that training wasn't just about getting the horse to do what you want, when you want, but about the horse UNDERSTANDING what each weight shift, leg movement, and sound mean. ~Keener: Keener taught me to forgive and forget. The first time I rode this horse, he was in a bit of a paniced state. I ended up falling off after ** I ** got the wrong distance to an oxer. I needed 6 stitches after that fall, but the next week I was able to get back up on him and ride him perfectly. Keener is honestly one of the sweetest horses I have ever met. Finally ...

The Boys from Bangladesh: a Great Day out at the Point to Point [01:19]
A group of friends from Newport/Bangladesh have a day out with us at the point to point. Older brother Sanu and Sammi have been before to Chepstow races and enjoy the day out; but this was the first time out for the younger brothers Ranu and Jemal and their mate Navid racing. Ranu used to have a horse when he was younger in Bangladesh and many have suggested he should have been a jockey. The family run the Shoboraj restaurant in Newport which is the local Racing and Point to Point watering/eating establishment for trainers owners jockeys and racing fans. When one hears the media talking of racism in the countryside take it with a pinch of salt !! They will say anything to create moral panic! Racing is a true multi ethnic community anyway from the Maktoums as owners to the gaps in skilled stable staff being filled by Czechs, Poles and many from the Indian subcontinent, Mauritius etc. and owners from all over the world. The boys decided that though they can't gamble for religious reasons what they felt it was good to respect tradition so what they could do is pool a pound each and choose a horse from the paddock they liked the look of and get a friend place the bet for them. If they won they would donate it to charity - and they did! One thing popular at the point to point is to bet a horse without the favourite. They did this three times and won each time at 7/2; 5/2 and 3/1 !! It isn't the gambling that Racing is necessarily about. It is the intellectual challenge of ...

Race's First Hunter Hack Class (Read Description) [02:18]
Well, here are the clips of the hunter hack classes I was in back in September. The show was originally a three day show, but the people in charge decided to cram it all in one weekend. Thus, the first day had double judging, and the second day ran like a normal show. And as you can see, our first time in the hunter hack class didn't go so well. I merely added the clip to show how Race acts when he doesn't want to be alone in the show ring and begins to panic. Our second time went rather well. We didn't place of course, but I didn't expect to. Despite the fact that i was a local show where jumping isn't as popular as other places, there were a number of good jumpers in that class. They definately had far more experience in jumping than I did. lol I'm aware my equitation is horrible, so I don't believe there is a need to tell me that. My horse is green to jumping. He was started on them at the begining of the summer with abosolutely no lessons at all, so you cannot expect him as well as me to be great. We are learning, and enjoying ourselves, so please leave your rude opinions to yourself. (if you have any) On a random note, (I'm sure you've noticed) my saddle slid back a lot in these classes. Race has high withers, and I can't seem to find any sort of pad that will keep it from sliding. I think my best option is to by a breast collar. Also, Race has been ignoring my bit again. (which is reason why he held his head rather high through the classes). I put him back in the ...
