The mare finished second behind King Mufhasa. Pinker Pinker passed away suddenly at Greg Eurell's Cranbourne stable on Wednesday, 4th April 2012, after suffering a bad reaction to routine treatment. Australian racing has lost one of its best mares following the shock death of the star four-year-old, who won the Cox Plate in 2011. Eurell was readying the daughter of Reset for another trip to Sydney, where she was to run in this Saturday's $400000 Group 1 Queen Of The Turf at Rosehill. Pinker Pinker died 5/04/2012. Due to a reaction from what the vet have gave him... He was an amazing race horse like no other. It was a horrible surprise to find out that yet another well know horse had died. RIP
