2nd Place Winner: Ace --------------------------------- This is my entry for American Rodeo's contest. These horses belong to some friends of mine, and I just love watching them race. They're amazing at what they do and enjoy doing it. They're hardcore, bad-ass barrel horses that aren't the kind you can just saddle up and run a pattern on. You need to work with them and really get to know them well. Otherwise, there's a high change you're going to find yourself lying in the dirt. didn't like that I had to throw a bit in his mouth. The rules state that no hackamores can be used. I should have considered a bit-less bridle or just his halter, but being aa barrel/pole horse I didn't know if he would be "on the go" or not.... seeing all the obstacles. ...
