Race's First Hunter Hack Class (Read Description) [02:18]
Well, here are the clips of the hunter hack classes I was in back in September. The show was originally a three day show, but the people in charge decided to cram it all in one weekend. Thus, the first day had double judging, and the second day ran like a normal show. And as you can see, our first time in the hunter hack class didn't go so well. I merely added the clip to show how Race acts when he doesn't want to be alone in the show ring and begins to panic. Our second time went rather well. We didn't place of course, but I didn't expect to. Despite the fact that i was a local show where jumping isn't as popular as other places, there were a number of good jumpers in that class. They definately had far more experience in jumping than I did. lol I'm aware my equitation is horrible, so I don't believe there is a need to tell me that. My horse is green to jumping. He was started on them at the begining of the summer with abosolutely no lessons at all, so you cannot expect him as well as me to be great. We are learning, and enjoying ourselves, so please leave your rude opinions to yourself. (if you have any) On a random note, (I'm sure you've noticed) my saddle slid back a lot in these classes. Race has high withers, and I can't seem to find any sort of pad that will keep it from sliding. I think my best option is to by a breast collar. Also, Race has been ignoring my bit again.
