Firstly, apologies for the shaky camera, zoom plus thousands of people scrambling to get a glimpse of Frankel didn't help :) Here are a few short clips of Frankel, during the Juddmonte International Stakes at York Racecourse 22/08/2012. I was grateful to be able to see the champion horse up close and it will be a day I'll always remember. Stepping up in distance, in what some thought might be his biggest challenge yet, he went on to win by seven lengths. Thank you for stopping by and watching! RTD 2nd in 9th @ The Spa 7 30 12 [01:47]
RTD ran like he was shot out of a cannon to hold on for 2nd in the 9th race today at The Spa! He broke sharp as he always does, took the overland route about 4 wide around the track and opened up a 3 length lead at the top of the stretch. Unfortunately the 6 horse - taking advantage of the front end speed (21,44,56) - closed to get the win.
