ALWAYS A WINNER Raced 19/10/2012 - Finished 7th in this race [01:34]
Age of 3, overraced by connection and tons of money wasted badly on a slow maturing buy , NZ pedigree belong to sprinter, required a break of 6 month till jul 2013. Need to finetuned for longer distance for stamina staying. A horse to note for 2014 1000m - 1200m poly.
Champ Kart Onboard 12/31/12 - Providence / Heat Race [02:28]
Onboard footage of the Champ Kart Heat Race from the Dunkin' Donuts Center in Rhode Island. Tonight on New Year's Eve is the 5th Annual Coffee Cup and Race #2 of the Fatheadz Eyewear Indoor Karting Series. I qualified outside of the Top 10, which meant that I had to race in one of the two Heat Races. I raced in the first Heat Race. I started 3rd and I had to finish 4th or higher to lock in to the Feature Race. I had a great run going and was hanging around in the Top 4 for most of the race. I fell back to 5th at one point, but was able to get around Nick in the #41 kart and move into 4th. On the last lap, the leaders tangle on the front stretch and I almost would have finished 2nd from all of the leaders being tangled up. In the end, I finished 3rd and got into the Feature Race. DJ Shaw in the #60 kart was declared the winner, even though he was in the wreck.
Champ Kart Onboard 12/8/12 - Baltimore / Heat Race [01:54]
Onboard footage of the Champ Kart Heat Race from 1st Mariner Arena in Maryland. Race #1 of the Fatheadz Eyewear Indoor Racing League happens tonight. There were approximately 28 entries for the Champ Kart race. There were two Heat Races splitting the field. I raced in Heat Race #2. I started 4th for the Heat Race and looked like I was well on my way to entering the Feature Race since I was within the Top 4, until my kart gets on three wheels from the uneven weight transfer and hits the wall. I almost turned over, but thankfully, I was able to keep the kart on all four wheels and continue on with the race. With a bent spindle, I had to nurse the kart through the rest of the race. The kart drove great, even with a bent spindle. I finished 6th so that did not lock me in to the Feature Race. After the race, I was granted an opportunity to compete in the Last Chance Consi Race to get a second try to get in to the Feature Race. We only had about 3 minutes to fix the kart. Do we make it in time for the start?
Oscar Pistorius vs a HORSE [01:31]
Subscribe for the latest news from SNTV: bit.ly "Bladerunner" Oscar Pistorius raced against a horse in Doha on Wednesday and won - all in an effort to promote disability sport and fight discrimination in the region. Normally when a horse takes on a human in a race there's usually only one winner but that was before Oscar Pistorius challenged a noble steed to a sprint and it was the horse who came away with a long face. The Aspire Zone in Doha witnessed "Bladerunner", beating an Arabian horse as part of the 'Definitely Able' campaign which uses special events to highlight the exceptional feats Paralympic athletes are capable of. Reporter question: "Oscar, how was it?" Oscar Pistorius: "I think you know, for what it's... it wasn't about who won today, it was just about coming out here and really just showing people that those (people) with disabilities are not to be stereotyped against... Having the Arab horse out here, which is a symbolisation of strength and power in this region... To be able to do a showcase event like this is a lot of fun. So thanks to everybody who came out here, it was a good night and hopefully it will do a lot to change the perceptions of people with disabilities in this region." Several noted athletes have pitted themselves against animal opposition with limited success over the years. Welsh sprinter Jamie Baulch and American legend Jesse Owens have both raced against horses, while Pistorius' compatriot, rugby player Bryan Habana, once ran against ...
The World's Greatest Fillies & Mares (1970's to the present day) [14:07]
Here's a list I've put together of 30 of the best fillies & mares that have raced around the world over the last 40 years. The list is in alphabetical order, there's no way I'd even attempt to rank them in order of quality! I know there's a lot of great fillies & mares that haven't made this list and I'm sure a lot of you will disagree with plenty of my choices. However, one things for sure, all of these are top class and some are legendary in their respective countries. Hope you enjoy!
