Roger jumping and flat, beginning of April [04:06]
*Dear you tube - I do not claim copyright on the music as it is not mine* Hey guys how is everyone! Had all this footage of Rodge from the past week and a bit so thought I'd better chuck a video together quick smart! Been doing a bit more flatwork with the boy which has really helped his jumping, he is starting to flex and bend and finally getting the hang of this working in an outline business, lol. We have changes of lead over jumps now, leg yields, and have sorted out the rushing at jumps which means we can do individual fences without placing poles and have striding! Yay! :P Took him next door and popped a small course (about 70cm I think) just to see how he'd go as we had a jumping comp planned, which annoyingly got canceled (for the SECOND TIME!) *insert bitching and ranting here* SO. We found out that unless we do just freshmans sj comps which are as rare as hens teeth apparently, we have to become a member of EFA, or HRCAV to actually go out and compete. EFA membership renewals are in 2 months, but the problem is I have ants in my pants NOW, so HRCAV it is! We are going next week to a rally, and if it works for us we will join up, and hopefully start going to some comps *woo hoo* lol. That's pretty much all my news, if anyone has any questions please feel free to ask, and while I'm yabbering on, Thank you to my 310 subbers!!! Thanks so much for watching/reading/liking and commenting! :) Luv Katie xoxoxo

Roger - 2nd and 4th rides [03:41]
Well it's official, Roger is the new love of my life, hahahaha :) This was Saturday and yesterday with the Rodgie pony, I've been a bit slack with the video making so thought I would combine the two rides! Starting to see improvements from him bit by bit, he's starting to come round in dribs and drabs, and even doing a bit of leg yielding today (will have to get that on film for you all) so really pleased with how he's going. Got him in a nice soft bit which is good, he's not heavy in my hands and pulling which is what I was worried he would do, as he had spent a bit of time dragging me around the paddock on the end of the lunge, lol, but he's lunging a lot better now. Actually not sure if he'd been lunged at all, he would have been if he was a race horse? Hmm I'm honestly not sure! Anyway hope you enjoy - while I'm here I wanna say thank you to my 245 subbers! Really appreciate all the support and lovely messages and comments... Keep em coming, it really does make my day when I have video comments! No crit or on my riding please, I'm back in work with my coach to get it all sorted, I know where my faults are and am working on them. Not trying at all to look pretty up there, just getting the boys working nicely is my top priority :) Thanks so much for watching!!! xoxoxoxo
