Pinker Pinker's last race at Caulfield was in the 2012 Cathay Pacific Futurity Stakes, on Saturday, 25th February 2012 (Patinack Farm Blue Diamond Stakes Day). The mare finished second behind King Mufhasa. Pinker Pinker passed away suddenly at Greg Eurell's Cranbourne stable on Wednesday, 4th April 2012, after suffering a bad reaction to routine treatment. Australian racing has lost one of its best mares following the shock death of the star four-year-old, who won the Cox Plate in 2011. Eurell was readying the daughter of Reset for another trip to Sydney, where she was to run in this Saturday's $400000 Group 1 Queen Of The Turf at Rosehill. Pinker Pinker died 5/04/2012. Due to a reaction from what the vet have gave him... He was an amazing race horse like no other. It was a horrible surprise to find out that yet another well know horse had died. RIP
