Tribute to Twist Magic ♥ [RIP] [02:38]
I do not own the song/audio. Full rights to the owner of this audio. 3 months later, I finally finish this! Not because it's difficult to make, it's just so sad :( This beautiful national hunts race horse was put to sleep after a fatal fall that fractured his fetlock at a race in Newbury. If anyone saw this horse in action, they instantly loved him. I'm sure I did. Very stubborn in his ways, and refusing to start with some jockeys and would rear up before the races, and be nut case that would make it hard for anyone to handle. But some jockeys manged him magnificently and he would go brilliantly and win most two mile chases he was put in. I loved seeing him out with his big muscly neck that made him look different, and the 'feet planted in the ground' stage before the line up in the race. A right quirky horse that one was, and will be sorely missed. Run free in horsey heaven big boy. Rest in peace xxxxxx

WIHA State Finals: Hunter Hack W/ Race [06:56]
Well, state finals came up pretty fast. I can't believe the season has ended already. I'm a little upset because I wish I could continue to show through this association, but sadly, this was my last year. (CURSE ME FOR BEING A SENIOR!) I'm definately going to miss it. Anyway, I'm really proud of Race. He did so well at the show (despite how much he was fighting the bit), and we even PLACED. We took 8th in hunter hack, but I honestly believe we should have placed a little higher. Both a girl on my team and I were place rather low, and a number of riders whose horses had refused to jump placed above us (while our horses did not refuse). When our coach asked the judge why he gave us such placings, he merely said a horse can refuse up to two times without affecting the rider's score. To me, that is bogus. I can understand if my position over the jumps affected my placing, but I'm well aware it was horrible (I'm still beating myself up over it 'cus I know I can a lot better). But when the judge did not say anything about my position and said my transitioning between the jumps was awfull, it upset me. Why can refusing a jump not affect your score but tripping can? Idk. The hunter hack class was not the only class with strange placings. There were a number of other classes where the judge made some wild decisions. Anyway, I'm at least happy with Racer. He performed so well for me, especially in the rail work. I have decided that I am going to give Race about a month off from ...
