"Tucker" is a sane, solid, sound, quiet 2D-3D barrel horse. Walks in the alley or run whatever you ask. You have to ride him, no run away out of control with him. Very laid back disposition. Will walk, trot, lope or run the pattern....you tell him what you want and he will give it. With the right type rider he is athletic enough for top 2D. Sound, great conformation, vet checks welcome (at buyers expense). Easy keeper, never injected. UTD on all vacines, teeth done by equine dentist 3/11. Tucker will go swimming, trails, we've gathered cows on him, loads, clips, hauls all very easily. From a beginner rider to advanced rider, anyone can ride him. Roger @ Oakwood freshmans show jumping June [04:24]
**Music is not mine** Hey everyone, hope you're all well! We took the boy out last weekend (I know I've been super slack in the video department) and did a few rounds of freshmans jumping. We got three out of three clears and came home with ribbons, so absolutely stoked with him :) I know the jumps are little, but it's only our second time out together and it was just a fun day, not a comp! Have a few comps lined up over the next couple of months including some showing, both led and ridden, which should be good fun. This horse is turning out to be an absolute superstar. Did some sensational flatwork the other day, so going to get some more of that happening, get him registered and get some more comps under his belt. Kelly had to endure that pet-hate of all show-jumpers - 4 faults. Don't worry Kelly, this is just the start. The show at Orwell was the first of many we hope, and although there are bigger shows around, me and my wife Christine haven't had this much fun at a local show in ages. The prizes were also top-class. In addition to getting a red/gold rosette (nice touch), there were also some impressive glass trophies for class winners. This show would be good for all riders that want a well organised and fun competition where everyone is made to feel very welcome. Well done everyone at Orwell Arena. The organisers would probably wish me to add that although the arena doors are normally closed during each round, they will be left open if the rider requests it due to a nervous horse.
