Fair Meadows at Tulsa's 2012 race meet came to a close on August 4 with the running of the $92295 Speedhorse Gold & Silver Cup Derby. Haulin Candy Salt emerged the winner after a final burst of speed in the final strides of the 350 yard test. Alex Baldillez, Jr rode the Oklahoma bred filly in the grade three event. She's trained by Clinton Crawford for owner Carl Pevehouse.
