Happy Valentines day everyone ;) Sooo another video...Outsidethewings made a short but great video to this song and this was inspired by it! I need to think of more songs to vid with, I'm stuck :/ 4 WEEKS UNTIL CHELTENHAM!!! I am so unhealthily excited. I'm going for a shake up in the Gold cup and having a guess that Synchronised or Weird Al will win! Binocular for the champion hurdle if they can get him back to his best, can't see anything beating Big Buck's in the WH to be honest, but I hope something can at least give him a race...he's a brilliant horse don't get me wrong, but watching him destroy clearly far inferior rivals is starting to get a little boring (JMO though, there's no disputing he is an all time great stayer), and I can't get past Sizing Europe in the Champion chase. Sprinter Sacre is the banker of the meating for me in the Arkle (that might change when he runs on Friday however).

1997 Preakness Stakes - Full Broadcast [01:08:08]
Silver Charm, who won the Kentucky Derby over Captain Bodgit by the length of his gray head, provided a smashing encore today when he won the 122d Preakness by the same head over Free House, with Captain Bodgit third by another head in a three-horse blanket finish. And he set the stage for the Belmont Stakes in three weeks, when he will be racing to become the first colt in 19 years to sweep the Triple Crown. The three rivals re-enacted their photo-finish performances of two weeks ago before 88594 spectators at Pimlico Race Course with a slight reshuffling of the order behind Silver Charm -- but with the same tingling drive to the wire -- in the closest Preakness in 65 years. The top three once more delivered a formful race, outrunning the leading outsider, Touch Gold, who did not appear in the Derby and who stumbled badly at the start of the Preakness. He closed to finish fourth, within 1 1/4 lengths of the three front-runners flying at the head of the field of 10. 'And we're going for the Triple Crown,'' shouted Bob Lewis, the California beer distributor who owns Silver Charm with his wife, Beverly. ''We need this badly in thoroughbred racing. May the best horse win at Belmont Park.'' Silver Charm is the first horse to have a chance at the Triple Crown in the Belmont since 1989, when Sunday Silence lost the Belmont to Easy Goer, whom he had outrun in the Derby and the Preakness. Bob Baffert, the white-haired, blithe spirit of racing who trains Silver Charm, has waited ...

Coetzee stars in CXIR Mile, Sprint Trial double (2) - Turf Race Highlights [03:20]
Race Meeting: 23/11/2008 Sha Tin Hong Kong Group Two - 1200 Metres THE CATHAY PACIFIC INTERNATIONAL SPRINT TRIAL Felix Coetzee produced a riding masterclass of contrasts to win both the Cathay Pacific International Mile and Sprint Trials and fuel hopes of local glory in the Turf World Championships on 14 December. The South African maestro outfoxed his rivals with a gem of a front-running ride aboard Egyptian Ra in the Mile Trial and had to summon every ounce of strength to force Enthused over the line a nose in front of Sunny Power in the Sprint equivalent. Now facing a five-meeting spell on the sidelines for weighing in light last weekend, Coetzee joked: "The wins have come just in time because I need some money for my holiday!" The fact that Egyptian Ra won the Cathay Pacific International Mile Trial could hardly be described as a shock despite the presence of the Horse of the Year, Good Ba Ba. It was, rather, the manner of victory that caught the breath. Few, if any, could have predicted an all-the-way romp by three and three-quarter lengths from Sight Winner with Good Ba Ba in third. The latter had little hope with the way the race was run - the time of 1 min 33.28 was marginally outside the track record - having been over ten lengths last at halfway. Trained by Tony Cruz, Egyptian Ra has long been known for his propensity to race too freely and burn his energy in the wrong part of the track. On this occasion, however, Coetzee bounced the seven-year-old to the front ...
