San Pail caught pacesetter Lucky Jim just before the wire for driver Randy Waples and trainer Rod Hughes. San Pail wins for the 10th time in 2011, pushing his seasonal earnings past $867000. He's won 45 times in 103 career starts for lifetime earnings of more than $2.45 million. Lucky Jim was second. Il Villaggio was third.
