Aint She A Saint - Frances Slocum Stakes (Hoosier Park) [03:40]
AINT SHE A SAINT was allowed to settle in the early going behind the early leaders, rallied while saved ground on the far turn, moved out to be two wide at the top of the stretch then took command and drew off in late stretch. YEARDLEY vied for the lead while inside, was in a long drive then weakened in late stretch but held the place safe in the end. DREAMIN BIG chased the pace the pace while racing three wide, made a strong bid on the far turn to mid stretch but was clearly best of the rest in the end. CJ'S BRAHMS was unhurried early then rallied on the far turn, swung out to be seven wide for the stretch drive and passed tiring rivals in late stretch. 1997 Hambletonian- Called by Ray Cotolo [02:44]
I'm trying to get my name out there as an announcer. Hence, the purpose of this video. I thought I'd take an unorthodox route to announcing, though, by sharing my calls on Youtube. So enjoy the 1997 Hambletonian call by me, Ray Cotolo. If you know harness racing, you may notice I sound a bit like John Bothy, the announcer at The Meadowlands at this time. If you don't like it, save your criticism and just hit that red x at the top of your screen, yup, that little box up there. If you do like, like and comment anything you'd like to hear me announce :).

1979 Travers Stakes: CBS Broadcast [09:15]
Next to the Daily Racing Form listing of five of the seven starters in last Saturday's Travers Stakes at Saratoga was an asterisk indicating that those horses could handle a muddy track. The other two had no mud mark. When rain drenched the track, making the going difficult and tiring, bettors gave those marks and those non-marks considerable thought. They could have saved themselves the effort. One of the two without a mark was General Assembly, an enigmatic critter who went out and won the 110th Travers by 15 splashy lengths. The General has led a puzzling racing life, up one day and down the next. Racing fans adore him after one race and deride him after the next. Until last week's Travers he was known primarily as "Secretariat's best son," but that has meant very little because Secretariat has been anything but the sire he was expected to be when he was sent to stud after his stunning two years as a runner. Well, what General Assembly did in the Travers was stunning and more. He ran over a track rated "sloppy" in 2:00 for the 1 miles to set not only a stakes record but a track record as well, and Saratoga is the oldest track in the US, having opened its iron gates 116 years ago. The field the General left in his wake was the best group of 3-year-olds assembled since the Kentucky Derby. Not since Secretariat himself won the 1973 Belmont Stakes by 31 lengths has there been so overwhelming a triumph in a race of such high significance. But a question remains, one as ...

Sr. Champ Onboard 9/16/12 - NHMS (Upper Track) / Feature Race Part 1 [07:13]
Onboard footage of Part 1 of the Sr. Champ Feature Race from New Hampshire Motor Speedway (Upper Track) in New Hampshire. The Feature Race was a 2 part race. There would be a 25 lap segment, then refueling for everybody, then a 25 lap finishing segment. I started on pole for the Feature Race and boy, the slipstream can either help you, or hurt you. I was able to run with James in the #24 kart and Dylan in the #24x kart to form a three kart pack to pull away from the others. Going downhill, I almost lost control of the kart, but managed to save it while drafting with Dylan in the #24x kart. James in the #24 kart got by me and he and Dyal were gone at that point. I had no choice but to ride around. After 25 laps, I was running in 3rd and would be there for the start of Part 2 of the Feature Race.

Amazing Horse Saves 5 year old girl! [03:47]
This is an amazing horse, trained by Lance Graves, that not only makes some amazing times on Barrels and Poles, but slows it down for this little girl that loves him! Julia got her belt buckle hung over the saddle horn on the first barrel, and the horse went on autopilot since she could not pull back on the reigns... As soon as "Gotcha" felt her begin to fall, he turned to make sure she was not underneath him, and stopped dead in his tracks! Even though Julia was in a lot of pain, she never wants to let the crowd down so she showed her "Cowgirl Tuff", eased back on her horse, and rode out of the arena smiling and waving to the crowd!
