Come with me to the Racetrack! [02:34]
I went to the racetrack this weekend to see the horsies, as I like to call them. I had not been there in so long that I could swear they ran two laps per race, hence my silly question! If you enjoy videos like this, please thumbs up and comment below. Thanks!
NASCAR Fan Dies After Fulfilling Dream [02:51]
Terminal NASCAR fan fulfills dream of going to the Daytona 500, then passes away in infield Three days, maybe a week. Three weeks ago, that's how much time doctors gave Mitch Zannette to live. Three days, maybe a week. What can you do in that time? How do you say goodbye to everyone and everything you've ever known? How do you close off a lifetime? Three days, maybe a week. If you know what you want out of life, it's enough time to write your own last chapter. So last week, Mitch Zannette checked himself out of hospice and headed to Florida to see the Daytona 500. He made it to the track. Went to the beach. Met Miss Sprint Cup. Drank some beers. And on Thursday, three days before the race, he died in the infield at Daytona International Speedway. He was 50.

Tyler Andersen, a resident of Jacksonville Beach, Fla., was at the Drive for COPD 300 on Saturday and was filming the final lap when Kyle Larson's car got turned into the catchfence just in front of him and debris from his car flew into the grandstands. You can see the panic in the stands in the crash's aftermath and the tire that flew over the catchfence landed just feet from Anderson. At least 28 fans were injured in the crash, two critically, which also damaged the catchfence. Daytona International Speedway President Joie Chitwood said that the fence would be repaired in time for Sunday's Daytona 500.

Race officials said 14 people had to be treated in hospital. The accident happened on the eve of the Dayton 500 - one of the most famous Nascar events. The officials later said the main race would go ahead. The President of Daytona International Speedway, Joie Chitwood, and Nascar's Steve O'Donnell addressed a press conference 'Freaky' The crash happened on the last lap of the second-tier race in Daytona as the cars approached the chequered flag. The driver in the leading car apparently tried to stop others overtaking him by moving sideways. One vehicle then hit another and flew into the fence. Pieces of debris were thrown into the stands and smoke from burning engines clouded the area. "It was freaky," fan Rick Harpster told the Associated Press news agency. "I saw a tyre fly straight over the fence into the stands. I knew it was going to be severe." Another eyewitness described people running and seeing a girl completely covered in engine oil. The race was earlier stopped for about 20 minutes following a separate accident in which one driver was injured.
