MOTION TO DISMISS looks sharp going over the Thoroughbred Center's track as she is feeling good and is one happy horse as she waits for her race at Keeneland next month. She is healthy and has had come out of her recent effort in fine fashion.

Nascar - Daytona 2001 - Dale Earnhardt Fatal Accident [00:22]
On the front stretch coming to 3 laps to go, Earnhardt made contact with Sterling Marlin's front right fender. Earnhardt's car wiggled but Earnhardt kept control and he remained in third position. Marlin was known for having a fast car throughout the race, and Earnhardt repeatedly blocked his attempts at passing during the last few laps. With less than two laps remaining, Darrell Waltrip commented that "Sterling has beat the front end off of that old Dodge (Marlin's car) trying to get around Dale (Earnhardt)". Heading into Turn 3 on the last lap, Earnhardt was racing three wide with Marlin to his left and Schrader to his right. For reasons unknown, Earnhardt's car veered down. The left rear quarter of Earnhardt's car made slight contact with Marlin's front bumper. Earnhardt's car slid off the track's steep banking, onto the flat apron, and then turned sharply up the track toward the outside retaining wall. Although it briefly looked as though Earnhardt was going to avoid hitting the wall, the No. 3 car collided with the No. 36 Pontiac driven by Ken Schrader. Schrader's car hit Earnhardt's car just behind the passenger door, causing Earnhardt's car to snap, rapidly changing the angle of his car toward the wall.

Tragic, Horrific Spill at Charles Town Race Track. [00:27]
8th race at Charles Town Race Track on Feb. 29, 2012. A horrific spill that happened after the leader, Sharp Leader, broke down and started a tragic chain reaction that saw the remaining seven fillies and mares fall, everyone losing their jockey. Three jockeys were sent to the Hospital. The #3 filly, Miss Fifty, was the only one that did cross the finish line with her jockey, she did require stiches to her front legs and will be sore, but ok. While watching the whole replay, I did see five other's running without their jockey's. Prayers for all involved in this tragic race.

RGG 2nd in 3rd at AQU 12.28.11.avi [02:29]
ReadyGetsGold ran a blowout 2nd in the 3rd race at The Big A today! She broke sharp and laid within striking distance the whole race. When the field turned for home she was beaten by one horse and closed on her right until the bitter end. The Jock got her to switch leads and once she did she took off and almost got to the wire first. A little longer distance and she would have gobbled up the winner for sure. She really looked great and her number should move up off of this effort. She will also get a ton out of this race to put her in Winning mode next time out! Go RGG!
