Nice Shoes, a re-trained thorobred race horse with Genesis Training Stables makes his 2'6" jumper debut with Madelyn Sano today at Old Salem Farm. Shoes has made remarkable progress- his training to be a jumper started just seven months ago. This little horse is a perfect example of the thorobred spirit. He demonstrating intelligence, willingness, courage, athleticism and a heart as big as the ocean!

yay! so today i rode jasper for the first time (the plan was to re-break him around june/july but after an injury and many setbacks we left it) and i am proud to say i have been the first person to ride him after his injury and to start his career as an ottb! he was such a star and let me lean over then swing my leg up! not going to lie i was so nervous haha! when we got him we where he had an issue with mounting/starting of and bucking! he did not put a foot wrong! he will be doing this for a while and then we will start hacking when he gets his shoes on! ps everyone has different ways of backing/re-breaking horses so no crit:)! p.ss my job is going great! finally getting some luck!

Me Riding Bareback [01:43]
Very simple I riding my mare Chill bareback. I'm a good girl and wearing my helmet and shoes :-) You can properly notice that she's lame BUT the exercise from the ride is doing her a world of good. She went down in a float/trailer over a year ago, burst a blood vessal which has stuffed the muscle up in her bum and its believed that the vet did her more harm then good as we believe he did a deep tendon injury 'trying' to fix her. She won't ever be right but she'll very lowly improve. FYI she's a Quarter Horse X and is 17years old.
