Part 2 of the Retired Race Horse Thoroughbred Training Project with Eric Dierks. [35:06]
I chose "Brazilian Wedding" at the Trainer's Challenge. Every horse has a certain quality that just stands out for a first impression. For Brazilian it was her overall proportioned sleek look. When looking at her for a more detailed assessment, I liked her comfortable eye, big ears, and the fact she was on all four feet whenever standing. Though skinny after her let down after racing, she has the bone to bulk up some muscle for power. She also has a very feminine look without being dainty. After all, pretty is what pretty does. Barrel Race! [03:48]
Ya were dorks. I have had Kit for a little over a year now.... he's made leaps and bounds of improvement! He was only green broke when I got him and he was very skinny...stupid people...I love him so much and he definitely has more gears to find! Also the hurdle stuff...My favorite events for track!

Roger - A new life... [05:01]
Hey everyone, meet Roger! Our new rescue! We've had him for three weeks - I know, I've been tight lipped! He's 16.2, 7yo and been off the track for 5 months. He was raced successfully at the start of his career, but as they do, he started loosing races and was sacked and before long, headed for slaughter. We got to him one week before he was due to be taken for meat, got him home and got to work on him right away. He was very skinny, head to toe with the worst case of rainscald I've ever seen, and his coat was really bad nick. Medicated baths, worming, vaccs, farriers, ground work, and LOTS of feed later and he's ready to start ridden work, and today was the first ever ride. He has lovely, springy paces, and a really kind attitude towards work. Loves people and has lovely ground manners. He is going to be amazing with a bit of work put it - watch this space!!! Please NO CRIT on my riding, first time ever on this horse, and his first time back in work for a long while. I am working with a coach so I will get 'helpful tips' from her, I know where my faults are and are working on them, thank you :) Thanks so much everyone for all your support so far, I really love reading all your lovely comments so keep em coming!!! :) Thanks for all your subs and all your 'thumbs up's' :D Love u all xoxoxoxo

Re-training a racehorse [03:05]
Me in the process of retraining me mums ex racer, he is only 7 but never really made it as a racer, tooo slow! b4 anyone says, I know he goes like a donkey, thats what were trying to get him in a shape, yes he is quite skinny but its not easy trying to put weight on a 16,2 racer. Dont bother to crit, Im not intrested.
