Horse Racing - MEP Part 12 for OutsideTheWings [00:21]
This MEP part has been a long, long time in the making so apologies for the other members if they've been waiting on me. There are various reasons why I've been lax with my editing lately but I'm gonna have one last spree before I go off to Uni (although I'm sure I'll find the video editing is a great form of procrastination while I'm there)! So this is for OutsideTheWings (formerly CoinOfCourage), who has had a helluva loada trouble with accounts and is well worth checking out, especially if you are a fan of horse racing or would like to witness tributes to the majesty of the racehorse.DISCLAIMER: I do not own nor claim to own any of the audio or video footage used, they belong solely to the rightful copyright holders/ respective owners. 1990 Carter Handicap - Dancing Spree [00:45]
Ogden Phipps's Dancing Spree, the trailer through the first half-mile, closed with a rush for a two-length victory yesterday in the $228800 Carter Handicap for 3-year-olds and up at Aqueduct. Dancing Pretense was second in the seven-horse field, a neck ahead of Sewickley. Mr. Nickerson and Dr. Carrington dueled for command through the first half, setting fast fractions of 21 2/5 and 43 4/5. Black Tie Affair, Mr. Nickerson, Once Wild and Dr. Carrington followed the first three to the wire. Dancing Spree, with Chris Antley up, covered the seven furlongs in 1:22 and earned $137280.
