This was the day's final race, a marathon test of endurance for these 10 horses. It's an unusual distance because few horses ever have cause to race this far, & few are bred to relish it. The conditions were track fast and dry, favouring speed horses, with partial sun and high humidity, with a temperature of 28 degrees. The video picks up well into the race, during which the runners crossed the finish line a rtotal of 3 times, around the 5/8 mile oval in Vancouver.

Erm hi SOooooo... As you can tell, my rein flipped! Lovely, right? But HEY Talker is soooo awesome. He had no clue what was going on, but he stuck it out and was like "OK MOMMY"! Agh. Perfect. Uhm.. ovbs no crit.. haha. I could of been lighter with my hand, but I was pretty scared.. But props to that second barrel guy who was going to run towards me lol not sure what he was going to do.
