GIST Fundraiser (Spring 2012) [05:41]
In March 2012 Dover Downs hosted a fund raiser to help people who suffer from GIST, a rare type of cancer. Participants walked over the Dover Downs five-eighths mile oval with cancer survivor Bob Kinsey leading the way! Over $10000 was raised on this fabulous day! Polar Mare Plunge [07:59]
The POLAR MARE PLUNGE was a fund raiser that featured two crazy girls - myself and my BFF Susan Ehlers - jump into a horse pond on my family farm. It was a huge success. Almost $7000 was raised for Wells For Ghana. A big thank you goes out to all the people who pledged for me to make the jump and at the same time build a new well in Africa!
