Captain Christy (foaled 1967) was an Irish-bred and Irish-trained racehorse, who won the Cheltenham Gold Cup as a novice.The horse was seven years old when it won the 1974 Chletenham Gold Cup with the help of jockey Bobby Beasley, trainer Pat Taaffe and owner Jane Samuel.
