CHASE BRISCOE MITCHELL, IN BIRTHDATE: 12/15/94 CAREER HIGHLIGHTS: 2002 At age seven raced first quarter midget race at Mini Indy. Finished first in first ever heat race as well as feature event. One of very few drivers to accomplish a win during debut race. Due to my father, Kevin Briscoe, racing schedule, I was only able to compete in two QMA events. 2006 Age eleven started racing again. This time in a 600 mini sprint. First race of the season, finished third in feature event. Second race took place at Southern Illinois Raceway (Marion, Illinois). I captured my first victory in the mini sprint. During my limited fourteen race schedule, I claimed five victories at three different race tracks across the state of Indiana and Illinois. 2007 Continued to race 600 micro sprints (winged and non-wing). Won five feature events out of ten events. 2008 Age thirteen, I started racing 410 wing and non-wing sprint cars. Finished tenth in racing debut out of forty competitors. Second race of the season I had a second place finish in feature event. In September of rookie year, won feature event at Paragon Speedway. This win claimed the title of Youngest Driver to Win in a 410 Sprint Car. This record was previously held by Jeff Gordon at the age of fourteen. Finished rookie year with one feature win, eight top five finishes and seventeen top ten finishes out of thirty-seven races. Japan Cup 2012 (English) Triple Crown Filly Wins Out a Fierce Duel with Triple Crown Colt [02:35]
This year's triple-crown filly Gentildonna(15) displayed her persistent strength, nosing out a fierce and long duel with last year's triple-crown colt Orfevre(17), to become the first three-year-old filly to win the Japan Cup. Sired by the 2006 Japan Cup champion Deep Impact. Last year's Horse of the Year, Orfevre,scored another close second following his runner-up finish in the Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe last month. Coming in 2-1/2 lengths behind in third was Rulership(13), who was also third in his previous start in the Tenno Sho (Autmun). This is Red River Rocket aka: "Tomahawk". I ride him in hackamore. He is a really easy going horse and pleasure to be around. He seems to be getting faster the more I ride him. I haven't had him long...took him in on trade towards another younger horse I trained. He has had his feet done correctly now and been power packed. I had his teeth floated and all shots are up to date. He is completely sound and needs nothing. No worries with this one!! Haul and have fun and consistently go to the pay window!
