BARC Winter Series Race 2 from Rockingham, lap 1, wet, greasy and crowded [01:53]
Too much wheelspin off the line after initial movement but not used to these conditions and I think when I start driving a road car next year I might have a better chance :) The right hand side of the grid all get away better as the track was a bit dryer up there but then as you will see its a balance of trying not to hit anyone as I was much quicker arounds turn 2,3,4,5 but with no gaps so have to keep lifting, it was very hard to pass without too much risk when the track is so unpredictable and when I didnt qualify nearer the front. Was a good race in the end and really enjoyed it.

Some of best horses in the world go head to head at Santa Anita, have OLBG's members pinpointed the best bets from this meeting? The Filly and Mare Turf on Friday will get plenty of interest with many fancied UK trained runners and the pick of them looks to be the favourite The Fugue. Both her wins this season have been gained over this trip of 10 furlongs when showing a great turn of foot and if reproducing her Nassau Stakes run, which came on a tight track around a bend, she will be very hard to beat at around 5/2. Saturday's Breeders Cup Turf is one of the highlights and it's interesting to see an American trained runner heading the market since 11 of the last 14 winners have been European trained. Last year's winner St Nicholas Abbey has leading claims at around 3/1, his best form is on left handed tracks and he proved last year he could run well after the long trip. OLBG members were impressed by Excelebration's recent Ascot run, 'Brownie3' had doubts about the horse running two quick races but now thinks he is the horse to beat in the Mile whilst 'deswalker' is looking forward to getting stuck in at around 6/4. In the Breeders Cup Classic on the dirt 'The Executioner' reckons Mucho Macho Man is value at 8/1 against favourite Game On Dude and he wouldn't be surprised to see his bet topple the favourite.
