I was at Ascot to see this mighty champion run his last race. In winning the Champion Stakes, he thrashed the second highest rated horse in the world, Cirrus De Aigles and 4th highest rated, Nathaniel. IMO he is the greatest we've seen and it's a privilege to have seen him in the flesh. He retires unbeaten in 14 races, winning by an aggregate of over 70 lengths. No one came close to beating him and he did so much much for his trainer, Sir Henry Cecil who is battling cancer. I will never forget this horse and what he and his legacy will and have done for British racing. Thank you Frankel, if any of your foals are are half as good as you then we are in for a treat. May 7th VCOB Sports Update May 7th [05:45]
NOTE: IDK why youtube hates me, but it cut off the end of the video. Anyways, I recently graduated from Broadcasting School aka Columbia Academy in Vancouver, so while I am searching for my first radio job, I will be uploading some sports updates and possibly less formal podcasts to my youtube and blog. The reason is so I can keep practicing and not forget what I've learned. The updates will be mostly hockey, but as you will hear from this one, if you listen the whole way though, is that I will include bits about other sports events.
