The Gotham is run at a distance of 1-1/16th miles and is a prep race for the Wood Memorial and the Kentucky Derby. The three year old colt handles the five furlong workout beautifully and even tries to run off under regular jockey Ignacio Karamanos (explaining the head bobbing of the camera).
