Breeders Cup Betting 2012 [01:52]
Join the Breeders Cup discussion at OLBG: goo.gl BREEDERS CUP BETTING 2012 Hi, welcome to OLBG's betting preview for the 2012 Breeders Cup. Some of best horses in the world go head to head at Santa Anita, have OLBG's members pinpointed the best bets from this meeting? The Filly and Mare Turf on Friday will get plenty of interest with many fancied UK trained runners and the pick of them looks to be the favourite The Fugue. Both her wins this season have been gained over this trip of 10 furlongs when showing a great turn of foot and if reproducing her Nassau Stakes run, which came on a tight track around a bend, she will be very hard to beat at around 5/2. Saturday's Breeders Cup Turf is one of the highlights and it's interesting to see an American trained runner heading the market since 11 of the last 14 winners have been European trained. Last year's winner St Nicholas Abbey has leading claims at around 3/1, his best form is on left handed tracks and he proved last year he could run well after the long trip. OLBG members were impressed by Excelebration's recent Ascot run, 'Brownie3' had doubts about the horse running two quick races but now thinks he is the horse to beat in the Mile whilst 'deswalker' is looking forward to getting stuck in at around 6/4. In the Breeders Cup Classic on the dirt 'The Executioner' reckons Mucho Macho Man is value at 8/1 against favourite Game On Dude and he wouldn't be surprised to see his bet topple the favourite. Sr. Champ Onboard 10/21/12 - Pomfret / Heat Race [03:37]
Onboard footage of the Sr. Champ Heat Race from Pomfret Speedway in Connecticut. Today is the Fright Fest. I started 3rd for the Heat Race and was able to move into 2nd past Josh, the President of the Tri-State Kart Club, in the #29 kart and literally stay glued to Brandon's bumper on the #62 kart. After a few laps, the kart got tight and I started to slow down. I lost 2nd to Glen, who normally drives the #4 kart, in the #15x kart and in the end I finishd 3rd. The track was like a cheese grater. The yellow letter Vega tires I had on, were used up pretty good. There was a lot of rubber build-up on the inside of the tire. The cause of me getting tight could have been from the rubber build-up. I would start 6th for the Feature Race later on, since we were split into two groups. I raced in the second group.

2003 Breeders' Cup Turf + Post Race [19:28]
Through its first 19 runnings, the Breeders' Cup Turf consistently has produced close finishes. In the first 10 years, the largest margin of victory was half a length. The most decisive winner was Daylami, the 8-5 favorite who won by two lengths four years ago at Gulfstream Park. The 20th Breeders' Cup Turf on Saturday gave tight a whole new meaning. For the first time in the history of any Breeders' Cup race, there was a dead heat for the win when defending champion High Chaparral and 14-1 shot Johar couldn't be separated at the wire. It took three pictures and some 13 minutes before the photo finish sign came down and the dead heat was confirmed. Falbrav, the 7-2 second choice, almost made it a triple dead heat. He was only a head back after having the lead approaching the wire. Watching the race live, many believed High Chaparral had won. Jockey Mick Kinane thought so, especially after former jockey Donna Barton, who was working on horseback for NBC, approached him as if he had. Richard Mulhall, racing manager for the Thoroughbred Corp., which owns Johar, agreed with Kinane. "When I first saw it, I thought we were second," he said. "I didn't think he got up. After I watched the replay over and over and over, then I thought we won it. "When it was taking so long, I was thinking, well, it has to be a dead heat. I'm happy with a dead heat. It's no disgrace to dead heat with High Chaparral. He's an awful good horse." It was the third of four victories on the day for ...
