Guns of August 2011 Head Cam Woods Run [01:17]
This is a head camera video of me running a course at the SASS Midwest Regional Guns of August. We don't just do traditional mounted shooting, NO, we do it SASS style with jumps in the courses, horsmanship challenges, and runs through the woods shooting targets like a real outlaw!!!! YEEHAAAW!!! Its a blast. Unfortunatly I set my head camera too high and got mainly trees making this video a little dizzifying. I am posting this video anyway because I think it is SO COOL and I wanted to share what I could with you all. Use your imagination and sorry if I make you sea sick! I plan on fixing all my technical issues for the 2012 season and producing some exciting head cam videos!!! So stay tuned for more!!! I do not own this song!!! The Boxing Day Hunt: Cotswold Vale [00:55]
Eliza goes out to support her local Hunt on Boxing Day near the Forest of Dean; the Cotswold Vale. Point to Pointing is amateur jumps racing and both horses and riders learn their trade in the hunting field. As well as pointers; hunting also offers a super activity for retired race horses where they can still enjoy themselves; and a great way for young children to learn how to ride and negotiate obstacles on their ponies. The activity of foxhunting protects rural habitats from development and is thus why many Conservationists and geographers support it.

Cotswold Vale Hunt Boxing Day: hounds and children [00:23]
At the traditional Boxing Day Hunt the hounds make a fuss of a small child. Hounds and children seem to adore one another! Hunting provides a great field in which older horses can still enjoy life to the full; and young horses and riders can learn the skills necessary for riding in horse racing at a later age. All point to point horses qualify to run in races by hunting.
