Micheal Nolan rides for Philip Hobbs and is based in Minehead but hails from ireland. He has wanted to be a jockey since sitting on his uncles horse Olympian when he was five years old. He this year won the top Novice Rider of the year Award after a thrilling finish. Micheal Heard, also Devon based, rode a treble on the last day of the season at Umberleigh but Micheal Nolan managed to pull one in front of him in the penultimate Race. He now hopes to turn professional.
