Kelly had to endure that pet-hate of all show-jumpers - 4 faults. Don't worry Kelly, this is just the start. The show at Orwell was the first of many we hope, and although there are bigger shows around, me and my wife Christine haven't had this much fun at a local show in ages. The prizes were also top-class. In addition to getting a red/gold rosette (nice touch), there were also some impressive glass trophies for class winners. This show would be good for all riders that want a well organised and fun competition where everyone is made to feel very welcome. Well done everyone at Orwell Arena. The organisers would probably wish me to add that although the arena doors are normally closed during each round, they will be left open if the rider requests it due to a nervous horse.
