Here is Charmayne James and Scamper making three barrel racing runs during rounds 8, 9 and 10 at the 1992 National Finals Rodeo. They won round 8 (Typical, ESPN coverage where they only show runs delayed with big watermarks to show scores of that day). Scamper carried Charmayne to her ninth world championship that year. He has grade 1 wins in the 2010 SW Juvenile Championship, 2011 Rainbow Derby, 2011 The Championship at Sunland Park, 2012 Leo Stakes and the 2012 Remington Park Championship. His earnings are currently $1190281. Special thanks to trainer Sleepy Gilbreath and jockey Roy Baldillez for allowing and cooperating with this project of Roy wearing the GoPro camera for the workout. We had a lot of fun providing the opportunity for people to experience this unique perspective of how fast a quarter horse runs.
